February 2, 2024 — PRIME Technology has smoothly completed the installation and officially launched its distributed solar power station, with a total installed capacity of 1222.65 kWp and 2090 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules installed. This project injects new vitality into Prime Technology's green development initiative, effectively promoting cost reduction and efficiency improvement within the company.
It is estimated that the solar power project will generate an average annual electricity of approximately 1.2625 million kWh during its 20-year operational period. This is equivalent to an annual savings of 410.31 tons of standard coal, a reduction of 1025.78 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, 9.27 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions, 2.87 tons of nitrogen oxide emissions, and 0.49 tons of particulate dust emissions.
This solar power project effectively alleviates the company's daytime electricity demand, reducing energy consumption costs, and enhancing operational efficiency. Utilizing solar energy for electricity generation helps reduce emissions of harmful gases and substances such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, dust, and coal ash, contributing to environmental protection and energy conservation efforts.
